August + September Event Recap
Sunday August 2nd: Yellow Birch Road’s Farewell Show @ Greene Acres Community Garden
It was a bittersweet sendoff saying with a midafternoon final performance of Yellow Birch Road at the Garden. The band helped start the seasonal concert series way back in 2024 and have performed ever since. We wish the best of luck to Susie in Scotland! If you miss them as much as I do, be sure to listen to the Yellow Birch Road EP on Spotify or other streaming services
Sunday August 2nd: Greene Acres Community Garden Summer Concert Series: Fork Soup
To cheer us up, Fork Soup came by later that evening to kick off the Greene Acres Community Garden Summer Concert Series! Check out their latest EP, Shiny Dust on streaming platforms!
Thursday August 6th: Bingo Music Video Night With Hannah Chloe Kaplan @ Chilo’s
Our VIP of the night Felicity!
Given extremely humid weather conditions the turnout for bingo ended up being a bust. So instead we threw on some music videos on the back patio!

Wednesday August 12th: Motion Picture Pop Quiz: The Marcelabration @ Lo-Res Bar
Our top scorers!
August's Motion Picture Pop Quiz was all about one of our favorite panelists, Marcela Mulholland. Marcela has started law school which leaves her with less time to contribute to our silly game. We thank her for her service and hope to see her back sooner than later!

Unfortunately this was yet ANOTHER farewell show.
Manuela opened with an acoustic set and a guest spot from
Izka. The guest of honor, Chris Ritter, was joined by
Charlie Blasberg on keys to put on a funky energetic performance! This was originally supposed to happen at Greene Acres, thanks to Devin and Greg at Chilo's for hosting as rain location! Check out Nodding Terms'

Thursday September 24th: RyanTV @ Lo-Res Bar
Hanging with Ryan one last time
Okay, I swear this is the final goodbye. Ryan has been the bartender for Motion Picture Pop Quiz since it started in April 2024. For his final shift at Lo-Res I cut together a
"TV Channel" with media that aligns with his tastes. Thank you to Ryan for enduring the growing pains of Motion Picture Pop Quiz and always being an encouraging voice!
