Wednesday July 8th: Motion Picture Pop Quiz @ Lo-Res Bar
On this edition of Motion Picture Pop Quiz we examined all the reasons the show had to take a break in June(and why we had to end early), including Basketball, Soccer, and Musical Documentaries. Thank you to Dan Goodman for joining Jim Search on the panel at the last minute!
Sunday July 12th: Susie's Send-Off Fundraiser Show @ WIP Studio Brooklyn
We had a great time raising money for Susie’s journey to Scotland. We sang, danced, and raffled off amazing prizes including a guitar!
Wednesday July 15th: Motion Picture Pop Quiz @ Somethin' Else
We got a dose of reality with Lexi Notrica and Tyler Durniak. Lessons included, how not to redecorate a room, a Rolex won’t buy you love, and leaving a bunch of kids in the desert is a bad idea.
Thursday July 23rd: Dare to Karaoke @ Francis Kite Club
Sadly this was our final show at Francis Kite Club as they have closed(hopefully temporarily) due to a rent hike. We wish the best to all the wonderful staff affected by the closing.
Saturday July 25th: Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership x Neno's Presents: Summer Sounds @ Myrtle Ave Plaza
I had a blast at Summer Sounds! The weather was perfect, we played games, there were four incredible musical acts to enjoy, and the crowd gave me impromptu Salsa, Bachata and Cumbia lessons. Best of all, I spent all day eating amazing tacos from Neno’s (do yourself a favor and get the Al Pastor)!
BONUS Sunday July 26th: Greene Ave Block Party Push Up Contest
With the help of Fitness Extraordinaire Lawrence Peterson(he did 10,000 pushups in 13 hours), we held a pushup contest on the block! Follow Lawrence to see the videos and to witness many other feats of strength!
